I have quite a number of ideas I would like to share on this blog. Ideas are piling up, mulling around in my mind. Before I get to write them up, what better place to start than to share a little more of the geographical beauty of Israel. A few days ago I had the occasion to travel from Jerusalem to Modiin. I managed to capture a little of the beauty from the window of the bus. It was not easy to do though.
My first challenge was that I tried to avoid photographing any cars. I do not want anyone to complain if their car was recognizable in an image on the net. Next, the bus was moving which has challenges on it’s own.
Next, there was a reflection that I did not want to interfere with the beauty I saw outside. In addition there were some dirty marks on the window.
I loved to look at the beautiful green trees and the fluffy white clouds in the perfectly blue sky. I loved to look at the hills. Sadly I struggled to photograph the hills. I am not sure why, but each time I thought I was photographing some undulating hills I would discover the image came out differently to what I hoped it would.
I hope these few images help those who are elsewhere in Israel or are outside of Israel entirely to get a taste of the beauty of Israel.
